Rowan Liddel is an incredibly personable writer. They introduce you to characters in such a way, it sounds as if you are reading a memo before you meet someone in person, then you go on an incredible journey with them. The stories draw you in so deeply that you don’t want to leave.
The depth and breadth of the worlds Rowan Liddell creates is simply astounding. In each creation you can breath the air and feel the sunlight, believe that each race has their own history so long and varied that there are libraries filled to bursting with encyclopaedias and debate halls echoing with scholars over the nature of events past and present.
There are very few writers in the world with the focus, skill and dedication to create the level of beauty in their works that Liddell has managed, as an avid reader I consider it a true pleasure to be able to follow along with these amazing characters and experience the world along side them – invested in their lives and cheering for their successes. These worlds are simply not to be missed.
